TheDentists Chair is a film comedy loosely based on a topical subject making headlines in the UK’s National Press. But given a fantasy makeover with a mixed bag of characters and situations which is how the Dentist Del and her team sorting out, every type of problem under the sun, from the mixup between Gorrillas teeth at the local Zoo and the patient, to saving an Aliens life after a brief encounter, due to being abducted one night by a roving U.F.O. If that wasn’t enough she also managed to reek revenge, on the local school bully who as a child, made her life a nightmare, she’s doing well don’t you think? Seeing she has only been a Dentist for two months, after training for two weeks on a correspondence course.

This short film was premiered at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival, at the Short Film Corner Event, at the same time as the Major Hollywood Movies that year. It was co-produced by Rod Maile and Patrick J. Ryan. It was written and directed by Patrick J. Ryan who also made a guest appearance as the Alien and the Padre.

Bar pianist Mishu picks the wrong night to go into work when he becomes an unwitting victim in a robbery shootout. Thankful to have only lost his left leg in the incident, he also loses his nerve to ever play piano again. Broke and down on his luck, he reluctantly takes a job as a rather unsightly department store Santa, all the while declaring his dislike for the "kids of today." Enter Liza, a precocious 8-year-old who has escaped from an orphanage on a wintry "Saint Santa's Day" to demand her rightful receipt of a new bicycle, just as her mother once promised she would get when she turned of age. Much to Mishu's chagrin, Liza takes to following Santa around all day to witness him beg, borrow and steal by any means possible. Liza is adamant that Santa will deliver on her mother
